Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-12
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account or using findpact.app and the Pact app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you're using Pact on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to bind that organization, and "you" means the organization. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. What Pact is
Pact is a sponsorship CRM for event organizers. It helps you discover potential sponsors, draft and send outreach, manage deals through to a signed agreement, invoice, and report on delivery. Pact is a software tool: the decisions about who to contact, what to send, and what you commit to a sponsor are yours.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and legally able to enter a contract. You're responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and your events.
4. Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure and your account information accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@findpact.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Your content and data
You own the content you put into Pact — your events, pipelines, contacts, files, and messages. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content only to provide and improve the Service for you. You're responsible for having the right to upload it and to contact the people in it, and for the lawfulness of your outreach. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Pact to send spam or unlawful messages, to harass anyone, to violate anti-spam or data-protection laws, to infringe others' rights, to compromise the Service's security, or to scrape it at abusive rates. You must honor opt-outs and applicable email rules (such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR) in any outreach you send through or because of Pact.
7. Third-party integrations
Pact can connect to third-party services you choose, such as Gmail (to send outreach from your address) and Open Collective (to reconcile payments). Those connections are optional and are also governed by the third party's own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for third-party services, and they may change or stop working.
8. Plans and fees
Some features or usage tiers may be paid. Where fees apply, the price and terms are shown before you incur them, and applicable taxes may be added. If billing terms change, we'll give you notice.
9. Service availability
We work to keep Pact available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Pact does not guarantee that you will secure any sponsor or achieve any result.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pact and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Pact harmless from claims arising out of your content, your outreach, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
13. Termination
You can stop using Pact and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the license you granted ends and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pact's operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. (The operating entity and governing jurisdiction are to be confirmed before launch.)
15. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be highlighted. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
